The believer in Christ, born of the Spirit, is a new creation in Christ. As such, he is not only crucified with Christ, buried with Him, but raised with Him, and presently seated with Him in heavenly places. The call of God is that the believer live by faith in the risen Christ who is seated at the right hand of the Father. To seek things above, is to seek Christ, and receive from Him all for the glorifying of His name, and the doing of His will.
